Bastide des campagnes, a luxury accomodation, on 1 acre of grounds with swimming pool, extensive lawns and mediterranean vegetation.
On the edge of the quaint medieval village of St Geniès de Fontedit,, less than 1 mile from the centre yet surrounded by countryside,
the Bastide is ideally located holfway beturen the "Grand Bleu" and the mountains of
Languedoc natural park (13 miles from the sea 10 from the town of Béziers).
In addition to its idyllic settings, the Bastide, built on a hillside, offerts a beautifull
panoramic view over the surrounding vineyards and the neighbouring villages,
stretching to the Cévennes mountains and all the way to the ¨Pyrénées 40 miles away.
The Bastide des Campagnes has bean awarded '3 soleils' by Fleurs de Soleil, an association exclusive listing highquality holiday bed and breakfirt's and guesthouses.
We take pride in the Bastide interior decoration, wich we have personally designed with an "Imperial" theme in mind, providing luxury and comfort without taking away from the friendly and relaxed atmosphere that we always strive to create for our guest.
Our exclusive accomodation constits of two spacious luxury suites, uniquely decored, for 2 to 4 people; our maximum capacity is therefore to 7 residents ensuring the intimate and relaxing atmosphere,we are dedicated to offering our guests.
To this purpose, every detail has been carefully selected from the wall decoration (tapesteries, wallpaper,...) to the bed linens
and towellery (Beauvillé, Linvosges,...) and the choice of every item of furniture.
The garden is landscaped with mediterranean trees and shrubs : olive tree, cypresses, citrus, chinaberry, skill trees, canna lilies,
broom shrubs, pittosporums and fruit trees.
A driveway lined with lavender, olive trees and cypresses leads to the secure parking area tucked away behind the house.
The fenced-in secure swimming pool is surrounded by palm tree, rose bushes, dragon trees, aloe vera, succulent plants and canna lilies.
Privacy is secured by a hedge of oleanders and oval-leaved privet wich doesn't obstruct the beautiful view of the valley
below and the mountains in the distance.
